About the Role The Senior Project Manager will provide oversight to maximize job profits while completing the contract scope to the highest standards. This position partners closely with the Foreman and Superintendent to manage labor, materials, subcontractors, and job cost while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, high-risk projects, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, supporting strategic execution, and mentoring project team members while ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
What You'll Do Essential Job Functions:
- Lead an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Review the project bid and breakdown, manage project budget, conduct cost analysis, estimate expected cost for the project.
- Responsible for cost to complete projections and maintain project budget.
- Act as a liaison between company, customers, vendors, architects, engineers, etc.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and construction personnel.
- Schedule and conduct regular team meetings (including lead kick-off meeting) and provide progress updates.
- Allocate and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Project schedule management and delay notices.
- Responsible for contract negotiations.
- Negotiate scope specific subcontracts.
- Manage the hours and costs of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process.
- Oversee submittals including a submittal log.
- Release lights, gear, and other materials.
- Oversee material tracking logs and provide updated shipping information to the job team.
- Information management of contract documents including Requestion for Information (RFI), bulletin/delta plans, submittals, etc.
- Manage the change order process including all pricing, change order breakdowns and maintaining a project change order log.
- Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process including maintaining a RFI log.
- Complete project close out per contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Organize and oversee the work on assigned projects.
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Provide feedback on performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Collateral Duties:
- Answer phones.
- Update computer database.
- Conduct research.
- Assist colleagues as needed.
- Attend staff and other scheduled business meetings.
- Perform other tasks and special projects as needed.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related construction field experience.
- 5+ years or more of related construction management experience.
- Experience with Procore Construction Software, Spectrum Accounting Software, and Accubid Software or any equivalent of any related software.
- Ability to read plans and specifications.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
- Regularly ascending or descending sets of stairs or ramps, when other means of movement are not available.
- Must be able to travel to job site locations.
- Ability to work in extreme weather and temperature conditions.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must have minimal ability to stand, sit, stoop. squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach lift, balance, carry, push, and pull as required for light duties of standard office.
- Exposure to air-conditioned/heated office environment.
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
