Commercial GC Project Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project oversight, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members. Employee will also being deeply involved in bid and precon elements of projects. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Utilize construction management software to track project progress and maintain documentation. Procore software utilized Review and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project plans. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate project development and resolve any issues that arise on-site. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulations. Prepare detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera or HeavyBid to manage resources effectively. Communicate regularly with clients regarding project status, changes, and any potential challenges. Implement best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and productivity across all projects. Experience Proven experience in commercial project management within the construction industry is essential. Proficiency in construction management software such as Civil 3D, Bluebeam, or HeavyBid is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to navigate complex project environments. Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is required. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail are necessary for success in this role. Ability to effectively lead teams and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders is crucial for maintaining project momentum.
