ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of an Electrical Project Manager in Reno, NV. Electrical Project Manager Compensation & Benefits Total compensation for the Electrical Project Manager in Reno, NV is between $120,000 and $135,000. Competitive base salary Health insurance package 401K Vehicle Allowance / Fuel Card Bonus potential Per Diem (traveling only) Electrical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities Perform bid reviews, quantity takeoffs, and develop detailed cost estimates. Assist in preparing preconstruction budgets and preliminary schedules. Review and interpret contract drawings and specifications, ensuring the project complies with all contract documents. Manage and process shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and related documentation as needed. Track and administer change requests and change orders. Develop schedules of values and manage project billing processes. Monitor labor, material, and equipment costs, maintaining accurate quality and progress reporting. Analyze project costs and reports to evaluate overall job status in relation to schedule and budget. Stay informed on unit costs, comparing daily field performance against project expectations. Continue developing estimating skills specific to large-scale electrical projects. Lead and participate in project meetings as required. Coordinate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to resolve issues related to submittals, deliveries, labor, scheduling, and payments. Maintain strong awareness of other trades' scopes and ensure proper coordination with electrical work. Review project cash flow and provide accurate, timely updates to management. Exhibit a proactive, growth-oriented attitude with a strong willingness to learn. Contribute positively to a collaborative and team-focused work environment. Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and adherence to scheduled hours. Perform additional duties or work at alternate locations as directed by management. Electrical Project Manager Qualifications Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in electrical project installations, along with at least two years of exposure to electrical construction, design, project finance, and management. Ability to implement creative and efficient leadership methods that enhance team performance. Strong knowledge of industry standards, company policies, and best practices, and how they influence project execution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to demonstrate professionalism, diplomacy, and strong interpersonal effectiveness. Competent in using company-specific software, departmental applications, and general computer skills including typing. Possession of an electrical license or a solid foundation in electrical construction is preferred.
