Job Title:
Project Coordinator (Residential & Commercial Construction) Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of both high-end residential and commercial construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within scope—from pre-construction through closeout. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Execution Coordinate and support multiple residential and commercial construction projects simultaneously Assist Project Managers with day-to-day oversight of project activities, timelines, and deliverables Track project milestones, schedules, budgets, and key deliverables to ensure successful execution Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal teams Administrative & Operational Support Provide administrative support for project management and construction teams Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and permits Assist with procurement processes, including tracking materials, orders, and deliveries Support construction administration activities across project lifecycles Scheduling & Logistics Develop, update, and monitor project schedules to ensure deadlines are met Coordinate field activities and ensure alignment between office and job site teams Identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays and escalate as needed Financial & Data Management Perform accurate data entry and maintain project tracking systems Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting Support invoice processing, billing coordination, and expense tracking Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships Provide timely project updates and ensure clear communication across all parties Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of construction and project management principles Experience supporting both residential and/or commercial construction projects Proficiency in project coordination, scheduling, and administrative support Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting Technical Skills Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, or similar) is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Solid data entry and reporting capabilities Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service Work Environment Primarily office-based, with regular interaction with project teams and stakeholders May include occasional visits to residential and commercial job sites Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring strong multitasking and adaptability High level of collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external partners Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albany, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
