Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. As a CSR, you'll serve as a liaison between our clients and internal departments—including Estimating, Prepress, Production, and Shipping—to ensure each job is completed on time, to spec, and with excellence. You'll manage orders from initiation through final delivery, keeping communication clear, accurate, and professional at every step. This is a critical client-facing role that supports both day-to-day print and mail work as well as larger campaign-based projects. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for an assigned client base, managing all aspects of order intake, production coordination, and follow-up Enter, update, and maintain orders in our MIS system (EFI Pace) Work closely with internal departments to clarify job specs, confirm delivery dates, and resolve scheduling or inventory conflicts Review proofs, production specs, and job tickets for accuracy and client approval Track active jobs through production and proactively communicate status updates or changes Coordinate with shipping, mailing, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth outbound logistics Respond to client inquiries in a timely, clear, and professional manner Escalate issues appropriately to supervisors or managers to maintain production timelines Participate in daily production meetings and internal planning sessions Assist with post-job documentation and client reporting as needed Additional Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a print/mail or manufacturing environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with print production workflows, materials, and terminology a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with EFI Pace or other MIS systems is a plus Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Team player with a commitment to quality, service, and continuous improvement Why Join Fort Orange Press?
