The Department of Financial Services is seeking candidates for the position of Project Manager 5 in the Portfolio Management Office. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:- Performs management duties including overseeing supervisory staff;
- Performs the full range of supervisory responsibilities;
- Manages one or more projects within the Portfolio Management Office;
- Coordinates and leads planning sessions for project development and execution;
- Creates and maintains detailed project scope, schedule activities in accordance with department policies and practices;
- Collaborates with internal and external users to complete projects on time and within budget; and
- Adheres to enterprise policy, standards and procedures for DFS' IT investment portfolio.

Candidates must have one year of permanent competitive service in a title eligible for transfer via Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
