This role reports directly to the Senior Project Manager and is responsible for assisting with the coordination, documentation, compliance, and execution of multiple environmental remediation projects. Experience working with NYC public agencies is required. Responsibilities Assist the Senior Project Manager in coordinating and managing all phases of environmental remediation projects Handle multiple active projects while serving as a company representative Coordinate contract documents, project logs, and reporting Supervise and assist field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants Prepare and manage submittals; maintain and update submittal logs Assist with subcontractor bids, purchase orders, and change orders Develop and track project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work Work with clients and city/state agencies to clearly define project scope during the remediation phase Maintain organized project documentation including drawings, specifications, and correspondence Ensure project files are maintained on the company file server in accordance with company standards Assist with compliance and filings for
NYC DEP, NYS
DOL, EPA, and other regulatory agencies Support reporting, documentation, and quality control efforts Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in office administration or project management within an environmental construction company Public Works or Commercial construction experience required Strong knowledge of environmental remediation regulations and procedures Ability to review and understand construction drawings and specifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-interrupt environment Proficient in documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking Full-time availability Preferred Experience Experience working with NYC agencies such as
NYC SCA, NYCHA, DDC, CUNY, MTA
