Job Description

  • Only qualified Project Manager candidates located near Bethpage. NY, to be considered due to the position requiring an on-site presence.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's in CS or equivalent experience.
PMP certification a plus.
Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
  • 5+ years in project/program management, often with 3+ years in leadership, in telecom, software, or related tech fields.
  • Strong grasp of software architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Identity & Access Management (IAM), or specific broadband tech.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and ability to foster a growth-oriented culture.
Role:
Program Manager drives complex tech projects (software, network, operations) from concept to launch, coordinating teams (engineering, product, ops), managing budgets/risks, ensuring quality, and reporting to leadership, requiring strong leadership, technical depth (APIs, cloud, dev lifecycles), and stakeholder communication for delivering scalable, reliable solutions in telecom/broadband.

Responsibilities
    Project Leadership:
    Oversee multiple large, complex tech projects, managing scope, budget, timeline, and resources from start to finish.
    • Strategy & Road mapping: Define technical direction, create roadmaps, and align technology solutions with business goals, often involving APIs, UCaaS, or core broadband tech (DOCSIS/Fiber).
    Team Collaboration:
    Lead engineering teams, mentor staff, foster innovation, and bridge gaps between engineering, product, and business units.
      Process Improvement:
      Drive improvements in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), operational maturity, and delivery processes (e.g., creating playbooks).
        Stakeholder Communication:
        Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
          Technical Oversight:
          Serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring secure, high-quality, scalable code, and managing operational health (SLOs, incident response) for critical services.
