Role Description Successful projects at LAND Remediation, Inc. begin long before work starts in the field. Our preconstruction and operations teams work closely together to pursue, plan, and deliver complex environmental remediation and heavy civil construction projects across the Northeast. We are continuing to grow our environmental remediation and heavy civil construction operations, creating opportunities for experienced professionals who can lead projects from pursuit through completion. We are seeking a Civil/Remediation Project Manager to support both preconstruction procurement and field operations by developing winning proposals, execution strategies, and successful project delivery. This role manages projects from pre-construction planning, estimating, and client engagement through construction execution and final closeout. Working closely with executive leadership, superintendents, safety, and preconstruction teams, this position helps shape project strategy while ensuring scope, pricing, scheduling, and operational goals are carried through the full project lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings experience in environmental remediation and heavy civil construction with a strong background in estimating, client relations, project execution, budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership. This role includes work across soil excavation, soil stabilization, environmental dredging, groundwater remediation systems, hazardous material removal, site restoration, and environmental demolition. Candidates should be experienced leaders who are looking to grow with an expanding organization and help advance both project performance and a strong safety culture. Qualifications - Required Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred 10-15+ years of experience in environmental remediation, heavy civil construction, or environmental construction estimating and project management Experience estimating projects for government agencies, industrial clients, and utilities Strong knowledge of remediation construction methods, environmental regulations, soil treatment technologies, excavation, and disposal logistics Demonstrated success developing and winning competitive public and private sector bids Experience managing remediation, earthwork, site development, demolition, dredging, and infrastructure projects Demonstrated ability to pursue and secure new work, contributing to overall project and company growth objectives Strong understanding of project financials, contract negotiation, risk management, and strategies that support successful project delivery and margin performance OSHA 40-Hour

certification Qualifications - Preferred Proficiency in estimating software such as Bid2Win (B2W), Construction Link (CLI), or comparable systems Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to write and prepare technical proposals Key Responsibilities Develop detailed cost estimates and technical proposals for environmental remediation and construction projects Review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, environmental data, and contract documents to determine project scope and risk Perform quantity takeoffs, constructability reviews, and detailed cost analyses Prepare competitive bids, proposals, and cost breakdowns through comprehensive evaluation of labor, equipment, materials, disposal, transportation, and subcontractor costs Evaluate subcontractor bids, vendor pricing, and procurement strategies to ensure competitive project delivery Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, client interviews, and project presentations Lead project pursuits, develop winning execution strategies, and drive profitable growth Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, regulators, subcontractors, and industry partners to generate repeat business and expand market presence Work closely with executive leadership to develop growth strategies, target markets, and client development initiatives Support the successful transition of awarded projects from preconstruction to operations.
