Job Description

Lead a team whose goal is to provide maintenance to certain New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) street furniture assets. These assets include bicycle racks, benches, leaning bars and wayfinders. Specific responsibilities include inspection, maintenance, repair, cleaning, installation and removal of street furniture assets. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution Ensure that there are adequate crews working to complete adequate amount of daily inspections of NYC DOT Street furniture as well as other assignments Ensure that there are adequate cleaning and maintenance supplies available to the crews Plan, assign and adjust inspection routes to crews via vehicle routing software Assist with reviewing, formatting, inputting, retrieving data in MS EXCEL and MS Sharepoint Assist with resolving any data issues Team Leadership and Communication Conduct weekly team meetings with the maintenance and installation crews to resolve issues Conduct weekly meetings with the NYC DOT to obtain performance feedback Ensure that each crew member understands and can execute their respective role Quality and Risk Management Ensure all work performed meets quality standards and client expectations Review completed work orders submitted by crews as required to ensure quality, accuracy Qualifications and Skills Education and Experience High School Diploma Proven experience in fast paced, multi task environment (typically 3-5 years) Technical Skills Excellent computer skills, including MS Office suite Proficient in EXCEL Soft Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments
