NSE Windows is a Marvin Authorized Dealer and Marvin Certified Installing Retailer specializing in premium custom windows and doors for high-end residential replacements and new construction across Long Island and greater New York. Responsibilities:
Review architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications to perform detailed material takeoffs and prepare accurate custom estimates and proposals for premium windows and doors. Manage projects from initial client/architect consultation and design development through construction documents, permitting, coordination with consultants, on-site installation oversight, and closeout under our QAP standards. Ability to create photo-realistic 3D visualizations, renderings, and presentations (using BIM modeling and rendering software) to support client approvals and architectural review boards. Conduct field surveys and ability to properly take field measurements Research and ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning, energy requirements, and permitting processes specific to Long Island and New York. Coordinate with architects, builders, homeowners, internal installation teams, and external consultants to deliver seamless projects. Maintain strong organization, detailed documentation, follow-up, and communication across multiple concurrent projects.
Requirements:
10+ years of architectural design, planning, drafting, and project management experience, with a proven track record of taking projects from initial design through to construction completion. Highly skilled in traditional 2D CAD drafting (AutoCAD) and 3D BIM modeling (Archicad or equivalent). Outstanding architectural visualization, 3D modeling, and rendering abilities, including photo-realistic output and Photoshop compositing/post-production. Solid knowledge of building codes, zoning, ADA compliance, and the permitting process (Long Island/New York experience strongly preferred). Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and detailed documentation simultaneously. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Windows environments. Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Preferred:
Experience in fenestration, millwork, or high-end residential building products; familiarity with SalesForce, portfolio of architectural visualizations and renderings.
