Our client is a global luxury retail brand. This role is onsite 5 days in Long Island City, NY.
Role Overview:
The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of architectural and visual merchandising projects, from initial planning and budgeting through installation, maintenance, and closeout. This individual will serve as a key coordinator among internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders while ensuring project milestones, financials, and deliverables are effectively managed. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role.
Store Design Project Manager Responsibilities :
Manage projects through all phases, including bidding, execution, completion, and closeout. Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and timelines. Coordinate multiple concurrent projects and prioritize deliverables effectively. Review and manage shop drawings and project documentation. Process invoices and support financial reconciliation activities. Maintain accurate project records, databases, and file systems. Oversee ongoing maintenance requests and issue resolution. Collaborate with retail partners, contractors, millworkers, and graphic vendors. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Create, track, and follow up on punch lists to ensure project completion standards are met. Monitor and coordinate project-related shipments and logistics. Support budgeting, project administration, and reporting activities.
Store Design Project Manager Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably within architectural design, construction, retail development, or related industries. Experience managing projects from concept through completion, including budgeting and financial tracking. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Procore, AutoCAD, Revit, Airtable, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-through capabilities. Positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to travel as needed.
