Long Island City, NY Job type: Full time, onsite. A well-established electrical construction organization is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex healthcare, medical, institutional, and commercial electrical construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of project execution, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and resource allocations. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and field personnel. Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, and safety. Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, subcontracts, and purchase agreements. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, safety requirements, and project specifications. Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, cost tracking, billing, and cash flow management. Support estimating, preconstruction planning, and project turnover activities. Mentor and guide project engineers, assistant project managers, and field teams. Required Qualifications Minimum 7 years of project management experience within the electrical construction industry. Proven experience managing healthcare, medical, hospital, institutional, or similar complex facility projects. Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and project delivery processes. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relationships. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with project management and construction software platforms.
