Andrew Flooring Solutions is a large commercial flooring contractor specializing in multifamily new construction projects throughout the East Coast and surrounding regions. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator / Operations Coordinator to help manage the growing volume of awarded and upcoming construction projects within our company. As a full service floor covering contractor, we specialize in large scale multi-family residential projects throughout the country. This role is critical in helping facilitate projects from the point of award through project startup and mobilization. We are currently seeking an extremely detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and candidate capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced construction environment.
PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate projects from award through startup Assist with project handoff from estimating to operations Track contracts, submittals, approvals, and compliance requirements Coordinate material releases and monitor lead times Work closely with project managers, estimators, suppliers, warehouses, and field teams Schedule and coordinate startup meetings Track project schedules, site readiness, and installation timelines Maintain project tracking reports and status updates Follow up with general contractors, developers, and internal teams to ensure tasks are completed on time Help identify and resolve issues before they impact project schedules Support operations management with day-to-day coordination and communication
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
Construction industry experience preferred Multifamily construction experience is a major plus Flooring industry experience is a plus but not required Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and construction management software Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated with a sense of urgency Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
