Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager / Estimator. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects by supporting project planning, estimating, and execution. You will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success from inception through completion. The ideal candidate is energized by challenges, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a passion for construction management and estimating. Responsibilities Assist in preparing accurate construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, schematics, and specifications using construction estimating software. Support project managers in developing project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to ensure timely delivery. Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and contracts to facilitate accurate cost estimation and project planning. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather quotes, track costs, and monitor project budgets. Contribute to project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize workflow on construction sites. Assist in reviewing contracts, change orders, and scope of work documents for accuracy and completeness. Use construction management software such as Google Drive, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, or similar tools for document management, RFIs, submittals, and progress tracking. Support on-site teams with construction site experience tasks including safety compliance and progress inspections. Maintain detailed records of project activities, costs, schedules, and communications to ensure transparency and accountability. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating or project coordination within the construction industry. Familiarity with construction management software including Google Drive, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Primavera P6 or equivalent platforms. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction site operations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and on-site coordination capabilities. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
