Full health coverage + comprehensive benefits package A well established and growing General Contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of complex, high profile construction projects across New York. This is a hands on position with real responsibility across financial management, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. Key Responsibilities Support project planning, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management Review contracts, drawings, and project documentation Manage RFIs, submittals, and procurement logs Track project risks, action items, and deliverables Support project reporting and client communication Assist with project closeout and turnover documentation Candidate Profile Experience working for a General Contractor, Sub-contractor or Construction Manager Exposure to commercial, residential, or mixed use construction projects Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communicator comfortable working with subcontractors, consultants, and clients Proactive and eager to develop into a Project Manager Based in New York or willing to relocate
