Job Description

Job Summary The Human Resources Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering high-impact HR initiatives across MVHS. This role manages projects aligned to one or more HR functional areas—such as HRIS, Organizational Development, Labor & Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Leave Management—based on organizational priorities. Projects may vary over time. The Project Manager applies standard project management methodologies and data-driven analysis to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with HR leadership, IT, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners, this role improves HR operations, employee experience, and regulatory compliance through effective execution and actionable insights.

Core Job Responsibilities Lead HR projects from initiation through implementation and evaluation, ensuring delivery on time and within scope. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and status reporting. Use HR data and analytics to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and identify process improvement opportunities. Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive summaries to communicate progress and results. Partner with HR leaders and subject matter experts to execute projects in assigned functional areas, which may include:
HRIS & HR
Technology:
system implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing, data migration, and training.
Organizational Development:
workforce analytics, engagement initiatives, leadership and change management support.
Labor & Employee Relations:
projects addressing employee relations trends, compliance, and workplace culture.
Talent Acquisition:
recruiting process improvements, hiring analytics, and candidate experience initiatives.
Benefits & Leave Management:
benefits administration projects, open enrollment support, and regulatory leave compliance. Ensure data integrity, compliance, and stakeholder alignment throughout all project work. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Experience Requirements
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Organizational Development, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR experience working with cross-functional HR teams Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, Lawson/Infor, Workday, ADP, PeopleSoft, Oracle) and HR analytics or data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau). Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. Demonstrated project management, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills. Working knowledge of HR compliance and employment regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FMLA, ADA). Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
