Reports To:
General Manager or Owner As a Restoration Project Manager (RPM) , you are responsible for managing reconstruction projects from contract through close-out following property damage events such as water, fire, or mold losses. This role is primarily production-focused. Project scope and pricing are typically prepared by a centralized estimating team. Candidates with estimating experience may support estimating efforts as needed; however, field execution, subcontractor management, margin protection, and job close-out are the core responsibilities of this role. You will spend significant time in the field ensuring jobs are completed correctly, safely, on schedule, and in accordance with Paul Davis standards. What you'll be responsible for: Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish including budgets, timelines, and subcontractors Develop proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and technology tools used in restoration management Protect margins through disciplined job controls and change management Communicate clearly and proactively with customers throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate closely with mitigation, estimating, and office teams Ensure job documentation, punch lists, and close-out are completed accurately
Pay Structure & Hours:
Competitive base salary Uncapped earning potential with performance-based incentive tied to completed, profitable projects Full-time role with variable field schedule based on active projects (Compensation structure and incentive details are discussed during the interview process.)
Qualifications:
Required Integrity, honesty, and strong character Self-motivation, growth mindset, ownership, and responsibility A desire to help people in distress Experience managing construction or restoration projects in NYC Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and job sequencing Proficiency with technology and adaptability to new software Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation Preferred Restoration or insurance-related construction experience Estimating experience or familiarity with Xactimate and Cotality (a plus, not required) Carpentry, construction management, or trade background Who Thrives in
