Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a Junior Project Manager - Physical Security Systems to our White Plains, NY team. This is an entry-level career opportunity designed for someone with a background in low-voltage electronics, trade school training, or hands-on technical experience who is ready to build a long-term career in the electronic security industry. Working directly alongside experienced Project Managers, technicians, and field leaders, the Junior PM will gain real-world exposure to security projects from initial kickoff through final completion — learning the technical, operational, and business dimensions of the industry along the way. Success in this role requires a strong attention to detail, a genuine desire to learn and grow, a positive team-first attitude, and the willingness to get hands-on in both office and field environments. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of physical security projects. Support projects from estimating and kickoff through closeout and customer turnover. Participate in hands-on installation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities alongside experienced technicians. Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot low-voltage electronic systems in real-world applications. Gain practical field experience with access control systems, video surveillance (CCTV), intrusion detection systems, intercom systems, and network-connected security devices. Assist with device installation, cable routing, terminations, labeling, and system startup. Learn how projects are scheduled, staffed, documented, and managed. Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and customers throughout project lifecycles. Participate in site walks, project meetings, and field coordination activities. Review drawings, submittals, and project documentation. Assist with procurement, material coordination, and project closeout documentation. Gain exposure to both the technical and business sides of the electronic security industry. Qualifications Technical school, trade school, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred; relevant backgrounds include low-voltage installation, electrical, networking/IT, audio/video integration, automotive electronics, or military electronics/communications. Basic understanding of electronics and low-voltage systems. Strong willingness to learn both field operations and project management processes. Organized with strong written and verbal communication skills. Mechanically and technically inclined with a practical, hands-on mindset. Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. The wage for this role is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
