Job Description

Job Title:
Project Coordinator - Architecture and Construction Job Description This role provides comprehensive project coordination and administrative support for an architecture and construction-focused office. You will oversee documentation and permitting for building plans, organize project schedules and travel, prepare client proposals and contracts, and support license maintenance and continuing education activities. The position offers exposure to a wide variety of projects, opportunities to work closely with clients and contractors, and room for professional growth within a long-standing architectural firm environment. Responsibilities Oversee all documentation and permitting required for building plans, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission. Schedule surveys and support overall project organization to keep deliverables on track. Coordinate travel arrangements for project-related meetings, site visits, and other business needs. Prepare and format client proposals and contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements and office standards. Maintain office architectural license documentation and manage related meeting schedules and deadlines. Organize and track continuing education activities for the office, including courses, certifications, and compliance requirements. Plan and coordinate special office events, meetings, and internal activities. Perform various general office duties, including filing, scanning, copying, and maintaining organized records. Maintain and update various reports as requested, supporting project tracking and office operations. Support construction administration activities, including document control and processing RFIs and related communication. Handle phone calls, emails, and client interactions in a professional and timely manner. Assist with project management tasks, including documentation, detailing, and coordination with internal teams and external partners. Essential Skills 1+ years of experience working at a general contractor (GC) or architectural firm. Proven experience providing documentation support for clients and contractors. Strong project coordination skills with the ability to organize multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience using AutoCAD in an architecture, construction, or building-related environment. Solid document control skills, including managing, tracking, and organizing project documentation. Familiarity with construction administration processes and handling RFIs. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Experience in architecture, construction, or building-related projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brecksville, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
