Restoration Project Manager (Mitigation & Reconstruction) Dry Effect Restoration Services | In-Office + Field (Cincinnati, OH) | Full-Time About Us Dry Effect Restoration Services is a family-owned, IICRC-certified restoration company serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for over 13 years. We specialize in water damage restoration, mold remediation, basement waterproofing, air duct cleaning, and fire restoration. We're a small, hardworking team and we take pride in doing things right. About the Role We're looking for an experienced Restoration Project Manager to own jobs from first notice of loss through final invoice. You'll manage water mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, and full reconstruction projects, write and defend the estimates, and serve as our point person on Contractor Connection and other TPA programs. This role blends estimating, project management, and claims management, so you'll be coordinating crews and subcontractors in the field while keeping adjusters, TPA reviewers, and customers moving toward resolution. You'll work out of our River Road office with regular travel to job sites. What You'll Do Manage water mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, and reconstruction jobs from start to finish, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Serve as the primary point of contact for Contractor Connection and other TPA programs, managing assignments, deadlines, and compliance from intake through closeout. Write, review, and defend Xactimate estimates and supplements based on field documentation and IICRC standards. Communicate with insurance adjusters and TPA reviewers to resolve scope disputes, documentation requests, and supplement approvals. Coordinate and schedule field technicians and subcontractors to keep projects on time and on budget. Maintain accurate, audit-ready job files, drying logs, photos, and supporting documentation in XactAnalysis and our job-management systems. Keep customers informed and confident throughout their job, from first walkthrough to completion. Track job costs, margins, and receivables, and drive jobs to timely completion and payment. What We're Looking For Required Proven experience managing restoration projects (mitigation, reconstruction, fire, or water) from start to finish. Hands-on Xactimate experience writing and defending estimates and supplements. Direct experience with Contractor Connection and/or other restoration TPA programs and XactAnalysis. Solid knowledge of the insurance claims process, scopes of work, supplements, and overhead and profit. Strong leadership and communication skills with crews, subcontractors, adjusters, and customers. Highly organized, able to run multiple active jobs at once without losing details. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Preferred IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, or similar) and familiarity with S500 and S520 standards. Xactimate Level 1 or Level 2 certification. Construction or reconstruction background and ability to read and build accurate repair scopes. Experience with restoration software such as Encircle, or MICA.
Pay:
