Job Description

Senior Project Manager - ArchitecturePosition OverviewLead and deliver complex architectural projects from concept through construction administration, ensuring they meet client objectives for schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory compliance. Serve as the primary client contact, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical leadership and mentorship with a focus on design coordination and production workflows using AutoCAD and Revit.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead full project lifecycle planning and delivery for multiple concurrent architectural projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.

Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; report progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary design and delivery teams (architects, engineers, consultants, contractors), ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

Serve as the primary client and stakeholder liaison: build relationships, manage expectations, and resolve issues promptly.

Perform technical design reviews and quality assurance of drawings and documentation, with specific oversight of AutoCAD and Revit deliverables and BIM coordination.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; implement corrective actions and change management processes.

Oversee procurement, contract administration, and subconsultant management; review and negotiate scopes, fees, and schedules.

Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, sustainability targets, and company quality standards.

Mentor, coach, and develop project teams; promote best practices in project management, design coordination, and software workflows.

Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, optimizing processes, and implementing efficient project delivery tools and standards.

QualificationsBachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree a plus.8+ years of progressive project management experience in architectural design and construction delivery, with a track record of successfully completed projects.

Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, including experience with BIM coordination and production workflows.

Strong technical knowledge of architectural documentation, building codes, construction methods, and detailing.

Professional certification such as PMP, NCARB, or equivalent is highly desirable.

Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement processes.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience mentoring project teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel to project sites as required and to work flexible hours to meet project needs.
