Job Description

CAP Fixtures , an innovative, fast-paced designer and manufacturer of products for the retail industry is seeking a motivated individual to complete our project management team. Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem solving skills are required. Ideal candidates are strong self-starters who are capable of working independently and are committed to exceptional internal and external customer service. Two or more years experience in an account or project management role and a Bachelors degree are preferred. We will consider applicants with varying combinations of experience and education who successfully demonstrate the necessary skills and abilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Directs, coordinates and carries out assigned aspects of assigned accounts and projects to ensure milestones are met;
  • Communicates directly with client contacts and contractors as needed throughout the life of the project in a manner which facilitates superior customer service and satisfaction;
  • Develops and demonstrates substantial expertise in the CAP product line as related to assigned customer accounts;
  • Provides direction to Assistant Account and Project Managers and administrative support personnel;
  • Partners with manufacturing operations leadership to ensure internal and external needs are met in an optimal manner;
  • Assists in the resolution of customer issues;
  • Reviews customer information to determine project demands and timelines;
  • Utilizes local and web-based applications to manage key elements of project;
  • Attends and participates in status meetings with the project team;
  • Reports to Director of Project Management, executive management, clients and project team members regarding status of projects on a routine basis;
  • Possible occasional travel to project site(s)
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing, retail or construction-related industry;
  • Strong verbal, face-to-face, telephonic and written communication skills;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • Proven track-record of building positive professional relationships and providing outstanding internal and external customer service;
  • Strong proficiency with basic technologies, MS Office products, spreadsheets, and local and web-based software applications (while basic computer proficiency is required, please note this is not an IT project management position.
)

$68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
