Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Corporate Interiors to serve as a trusted owner's representative supporting complex, high‑value corporate interior projects in a highly regulated, process‑driven environment. This individual will lead projects end‑to‑end, from initial programming and test fits through Day‑1 occupancy, balancing heavy administrative rigor with hands‑on execution. This role requires active leadership of the entire interiors lifecycle, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, phased construction, commissioning, and move‑in. The Senior PM will define and protect the original program and business requirements throughout the project, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule alignment in politically complex, stakeholder‑heavy settings. A critical component of this role is design phase leadership. The PM will actively manage external architects and internal design partners, control scope creep, prevent repetitive redesign, and keep projects moving forward efficiently. This is not a passive oversight role — strong design management and decision‑making are essential. The individual will develop, own, and manage detailed project budgets ranging from $5M to $50M+, using benchmarking, market pricing, and clearly defined assumptions. They will partner closely with general contractors and consultants to develop budgets early, define inclusions vs. exclusions, mitigate risk, and avoid downstream finger‑pointing. Procurement strategy involvement is required on every project, including long‑lead items such as
FF&E, AV, MEP
systems, and specialty components. Day‑to‑day responsibilities also include building and maintaining integrated master schedules, coordinating cross‑functional teams (design, construction, IT/network, AV, security, workplace strategy, move services, facilities), conducting frequent site visits, and maintaining a high‑touch presence with stakeholders. The PM will drive QA/QC across drawings, submittals, mockups, installations, and punch lists, while tracking performance metrics related to cost, schedule, change orders, and client satisfaction. This is a fast‑paced, bureaucracy‑heavy environment that demands precision, adaptability, and comfort with constant system usage and reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in structured, technology‑heavy settings and understands that significant administrative work is required before getting to the "fun" parts of design and construction. There is potential to support or informally lead a small team of project managers, with responsibilities such as mentoring, performance documentation, and day‑to‑day guidance, though formal people‑management experience is not required. This is a high‑visibility, high‑touch role suited for a senior‑level PM with deep corporate interiors experience, strong executive presence, and the ability to execute projects independently while navigating complex stakeholder dynamics and evolving priorities. We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.
