Field Services Assistant Project Manager Bowser-Morner Inc - 3.2 Dayton, OH Job Details Full-time $23.50 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication American Concrete Institute (ACI) Standards Construction concrete testing Soil density testing Project coordination High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Overview The Field Services Assistant Project Manager supports Construction Services operations through project logistics, quality management, document control, and client interactions. The position serves as a liaison between field staff, management, and clients while supporting operational efficiency and business development. The role maintains approximately a 50% office and 50% field presence. Key Responsibilities Assist with the coordination of technician scheduling and daily work assignments. Maintain equipment inventories, calibration schedules, and compliance records. Assist with the coordination of fleet maintenance and equipment calibration activities. Maintain training and certification records and renewal requirements. Assist with technician onboarding and training plan/activities. Review field reports for completeness and accuracy. Perform field testing, inspection, observation, and sampling as needed. Support quality assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with client communications, relationship development, and business development efforts. Participate in OCA, AGC, Ohio Concrete, ACI, and other industry organizations as needed. Assume increasing responsibility for scheduling, equipment management, training administration, quality systems, and client relationships. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High School diploma or GED required. Experience in construction materials testing, operations coordination, scheduling, and project support preferred. OAIMA Aggregate Technician Level 1, Nuclear Density Gauge and ACI Concrete Field Testing Tech Grade I certifications required or ability to obtain and maintain. Skills and Abilities Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software systems. Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record. Reporting Relationships Field Services Department Manager, Field Services Assistant Manager Physical Requirements S tand, walk, push, pull, twist, reach overhead, bend, crawl, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds. Visual accommodation necessary to perform job duties. Ability to communicate effectively in office and field environments. Work Conditions Office and field environments.
