Job Description Project Manager Position Summary:
This role is responsible for leading complex technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with approved scope and specifications. The Project Manager will coordinate internal teams and external contractors, maintain rigorous oversight of project performance, and ensure that all deliverables meet quality, safety, and stakeholder expectations. Success in this position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast‑paced environment.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to support successful execution. Lead project kickoff, coordination, and ongoing communication across internal teams and external partners. Execute, monitor, and close projects while meeting defined milestones and performance targets. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved scope and technical specifications. Control and document scope changes to ensure alignment with technical requirements and stakeholder approvals. Maintain detailed tracking of costs, schedules, and milestones for each asset within the larger project portfolio. Ensure all project deliverables meet established quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations. Conduct regular reviews, inspections, and risk assessments to proactively identify and resolve issues. Coordinate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations. Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and safety protocols. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cross‑functional teams. This position reports directly to the Facilities Manager.Required Skills:
Proven analytical, problem solving, and process improvement ability. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand. Ability to present material status effectively in weekly program/executive meetings. Open-minded, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude Self-motivation and resourcefulness Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision. Strong project management skills.Desired Skills:
Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills are required. Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership, and team management capabilities. Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field equivalent. 10+ years of project management experience. Prior 6 Sigma Black Belt experience.
