Crown Equipment Corporation is a leading innovator in world-class forklift and material handling equipment and technology. As one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership. Job Posting External The Operational Excellence Co-Op position is dedicated to exposing the applicant to multiple opportunities related to Crown's Lean Management System. These opportunities can either be project-based or event/experience-based depending on the background of the applicant and current department work focus.Job Responsibilities:
Listed below are examples of work content for the position: Support value stream mapping projects and events- opportunities to learn and use software such as Video TimerPro, eVSM, Visio etc. Support continuous improvement, 5S, process mapping, etc. events within multiple plants/departments. Support Operational Excellence web-based and instructor-led training module development
- opportunities to learn and use PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. Create pages for lean resources within Operational Excellence's SharePoint page
- tracking systems, dashboards, repositories
- opportunities to learn and use Power Automate, Power BI, Excel, etc.
Job Qualifications:
Candidate must have a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement. Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and work effectively in a team. Ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Must have own reliable means of transportation and willingness to travel. Preferred candidate will be pursuing a degree in Operations Management or Engineering- Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.
