Job Description

Job Summary:
Under general supervision from the Director of the Office for Institutional Equity (OIE), the Administrative and Project Coordinator (APC) performs complex administrative duties in support of the OIE. The APC plays a crucial role in the vital work of the Office for Institutional Equity (OIE). This position is charged with providing administrative support in connection with the Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy, the Non-discrimination and Anti-harassment policy, and the Prohibited Relationship Policy. In addition, the incumbent will perform a variety of projects and tasks relative to the work of the OIE.
Responsibilities:
This position plays a critical role in the compliance processes of the college related to Title IX, Title VII, VAWA, SaVE, FERPA, Clery Act, Title VI, ADA, the Fair Housing Act, and other applicable laws and regulations.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, or 8 years of prior executive, administrative and project management experience. Four (4) years of professional experience working in similarly, complex, work environments. Experience with employee relations, conduct or compliance administration, investigative work, or complaint resolution. Ability to communicate and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with a diverse population. Sound judgment and professional discretion with the ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information. Skill in writing concise, logical analytical reports to convey complex issues. Ability to maintain neutrality and work under stress. Demonstrated commitment to values of equal opportunity and inclusive excellence . Compensation:
Within the range established for this Administrative and Professional Staff position, salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation includes an excellent benefits package, including tuition benefits for eligible children to attend Oberlin College and many other institutions.
