SALES/PROJECT MANAGER- FIRE & SECURITY

At Gardiner, we're looking for a Fire & Security Sales & Project Manager who can bring together sales, project execution, and team leadership to deliver high-quality work and a great experience for our customers. Essential Functions include the following; other duties may be assigned- Sales & Estimating Prepare accurate and timely take-offs, estimates, and proposals for fire alarm and security system projects Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to develop competitive and complete quotes Partner with customers, contractors, and internal teams to clarify scope and ensure alignment Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and building strong client relationships Project Management & Execution Oversee projects from award through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met Coordinate resources, schedules, and materials to support successful project delivery Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to keep work moving forward Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company expectations Team Leadership Lead, support, and develop project coordinators and technicians within the division Provide guidance on project execution, prioritization, and problem-solving Foster a team environment focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Assist with workload planning and resource allocation across projects Customer & Operational Support Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle Maintain strong relationships by ensuring clear communication and follow-through Partner with internal teams to support a seamless customer experience Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall project outcomes

EXPERIENCE

Experience in fire alarm, security systems, or related life safety industryNICET certificationStrong understanding of estimating, take-offs, and project management practices Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NFPA, NEC, and local requirements preferred) Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment Gardiner is committed to creating an accessible application process.
