Financial Project Manager

Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an experienced Financial Project Manager to oversee a key construction project in South America for a Springfield, Ohio based company. This role requires strong expertise in cross-functional project management, accounting, treasury, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth operational execution. This is a long term (1 year+) contract role based primary onsite in Springfield, OH. Appliciants must have an accounting/finance background and be able to commute daily to Springfield, OH.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate projects related to the company's construction project in South America operations, ensuring all statutory and financial requirements are met. Develop and maintain detailed business plans that address operational needs, including financial, treasury, and regulatory aspects. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing timely updates on project progress and plans. Organize and compile necessary information related to compliance and operational requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Monitor deadlines and follow up with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time. Collaborate with consultants and other partners to align project objectives and execution strategies. Facilitate communication across departments to ensure seamless coordination and understanding of project requirements. Implement structured processes for tracking financial data and operational metrics. Provide guidance and insights based on accounting and financial expertise to support decision-making. Maintain strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. 7+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Consulting, or related field Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders. Strong knowledge of accounting and treasury functions, including compliance requirements. Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Experience in managing regulatory requirements within operational contexts is highly preferred. Background in construction industry is a plus.
