Job Description

Quality and Order Entry Coordinator Shift :
Monday•Friday | 9:00 AM•6:00 PM (Flexibility required to accommodate West Coast business operations)
Salary :
$80,000•$120,000 (Based on experience) Who we are We are a leading metal distribution organization serving the aerospace, defense, and energy generation markets. A clean, organized, and upscale office and warehousing facility. We specialize in custom high-temperature materials and are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team due to an upcoming departure. Quality and Order Entry Coordinator Role The Quality and Order Entry Coordinator reviews and enters customer purchase orders and quality requirements while interpreting complex material specifications and test reports. This role ensures full compliance with industry standards and customer requirements to maintain our commitment to high-quality metal products. Quality and Order Entry Coordinator Responsibilities Review customer purchase orders for alignment with quoted price, lead time, and quality flow-downs Resolve discrepancies or missing information by working directly with customers Interpret ASTM and AMS material specifications and customer quality requirements Enter customer orders accurately into the internal management system Process material certifications and Mill Test Reports to ensure compliance with specifications Identify issues related to documentation or order discrepancies and communicate with internal parties Assist with internal and customer audits as well as quality documentation requests Maintain company information in customer portals and complete supplier surveys Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9120 quality management systems Source value-added services and materials to support project completion Quality and Order Entry Coordinator Reporting Relationships This position reports to the Sales Project Manager and ownership team and does not have any direct reports. About You Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in metal distribution, testing, or related industry environments Maintain strong working knowledge of ASTM and AMS specifications Demonstrate experience with stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, and specialty metals Exhibit a background in aerospace industry quality standards rather than automotive Show proficiency in reviewing material certifications and technical quality documentation Display excellent attention to detail and organizational competencies Exercise strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box Utilize Microsoft Office applications at a high level of proficiency Commit to a full-time, on-site schedule with no remote work flexibility Maintain a mindset focused on project completion rather than strict clock-watching Next Steps If you are a problem solver and detail oriented, we would like to hear from you.
