Overview Bird Construction is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee day-of roof installation operations. This role is boots-on-the-ground and crucial to ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality roof installs. As the on-site point of contact, you'll support the crew, manage materials and setup, and ensure each job is documented and completed to company standards. Duties
- Pick up and deliver supplies or materials as needed to keep the crew running efficiently
- Provide food and drinks for install crews to support productivity and morale
- Set up and tear down The Catch-All System or other jobsite protection measures
- Photograph each phase of the roofing project (before, during, and after installation) for documentation and quality control
- Assist with jobsite preparation and cleanup to ensure a safe and organized work area
- Communicate with the office team regarding job progress, issues, and completion updates
- Be a point of contact for homeowners or crew on the day of the install to help address questions or concerns
- Ensure install crews have what they need to stay on schedule and complete the job efficiently
- Support final jobsite walk-through and checklist completion to ensure nothing is missed as well as clean up Experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, pick up truck is preferable
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work on/around job sites
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Self-starter with a "get it done" attitude
- Experience in roofing, construction, or project support preferred (not required—training available)
- Must be organized, dependable, and customer-service minded Additional Benefits Paid Training On-the-job Training After training, will be able to earn 1% commission per roof
