Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Trade Project Coordinator will oversee the installation and recovery efforts of the Trade team. This role collaborates with a variety of team members to ensure timely and accurate project installation with high customer satisfaction.
Schedule and Availability:
Weekdays during normal business hours from 8am to 5pm
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Serve as the daily point of contact for field technicians Manage the schedule for field technicians and
OKC Delivery Drivers Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for scheduling all installs, deliveries, and recoveries in the assigned market Collaborate with installation crews to ensure exceptional customer service during the installation process Schedule and confirm installations with customers, prioritizing availability based on product order dates and lead times Schedule all recoveries in a timely manner ensuring necessary material is ordered as soon as known issue is reported by installation team Maintain, document, and update project statuses across all relevant platforms Collect payments prior to project installations Partner with leadership to balance revenue-generating and non-revenue generating installation projects to ensure a balance between company profitability and project completion Work with QA/QC Manager to maximize utilization and efficiency of subcontractors Ensure subcontractors submit appropriate completed paperwork for installations including project acceptance forms Communicate regularly and clearly with the customer to set proper expectations on project timeline, execution, and customer responsibility Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely sub-contractor payment Ensure jobsite readiness before scheduling installation Complete jobsite visits as approved by Senior Project Manager to continue to learn about complex trade issues and troubleshoot customer challenges Coordinate with the Senior Project Manager to forecast upcoming projects and review open recoveries on a weekly basis Participate in trade related meetings to ensure alignment with trade sales team Schedule final walkthrough to ensure product functionality and install accessories Maintain positive builder relationships to ensure continued business success in collaboration with trade sales representatives Order and maintain non-Pella installation material for the assigned market Collaborate and communicate with various operations team members daily Perform all other duties as necessary or assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to serve as a leader for people and processes Comfortable working both independently and within a team framework Knowledge of construction industry Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and strong time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and customer accounts at once Participate in continuing education via jobsite visits and The Exchange as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Mathematical and Reasoning Skills:
Ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions Ability to perform calculations using units of money, time, measurement, etc. Ability to accurately manage reports, accounts, and records Ability to read and analyze documents related to contracts
Computer Skills:
Must be proficient with Microsoft suite Must be proficient with smart devices Ability to learn and utilize proprietary Pella software programs and applications and other business critical applications
Communication Skills:
Ability to provide clear communication with internal and external customers via emails, telephone calls, and/or text messages in a timely manner Ability to verbally present information and respond to questions from customers and managers
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to travel between market locations While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, type or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, or crouch Occasionally may need to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to sit for long periods of time
