We are seeking a
VDC / BIM
Coordinator to support model-based coordination efforts for complex semiconductor facility design projects. This role is part of the Digital Delivery team and assists with BIM coordination, clash detection workflows, model reviews, and coordination meeting preparation. The ideal candidate has developing knowledge of engineering design processes, multidisciplinary building systems, and BIM coordination practices. This position is suited for someone who has hands-on BIM/VDC experience and is continuing to build higher-level technical knowledge, project delivery understanding, and coordination skills under the guidance of more experienced Digital Delivery and engineering team members. Key Responsibilities Support design-phase clash detection and BIM coordination workflows across multidisciplinary engineering models (process, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, architectural). Assist with the preparation, facilitation, and documentation of recurring coordination meetings with internal engineering teams, consultants, clients, and trade partners. Help aggregate and manage federated models in alignment with project BIM Execution Plans, client standards, and established Digital Delivery procedures. Review clashes, design conflicts, and spatial constraints early in the design process, and drive resolution through collaboration with discipline leads. Track coordination items, update issue logs, document assigned actions, and monitor progress toward resolution. Prepare and maintain coordination reports, meeting notes, dashboards, and basic metrics for project teams and leadership. Support model-based design reviews, including reviews focused on constructability, operability, and maintainability. Apply company BIM/VDC standards, workflows, and QA/QC procedures under moderate guidance. Build knowledge of company delivery processes, project standards, client requirements, and semiconductor/advanced manufacturing design practices. Contribute suggestions for improving BIM/VDC workflows based on project experience and established best practices. Autodesk Revit (multi-discipline model navigation and coordination) Navisworks Manage (clash detection, viewpoints, and reporting) Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 (model management and collaboration) Ability to analyze and resolve a range of straightforward coordination issues using established procedures and guidance from senior team members. Developing understanding of building systems, such as HVAC, process piping, plumbing, electrical distribution, structural systems, and architectural coordination. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain issue logs, meeting records, and coordination documentation. Effective communication skills with the ability to summarize technical issues and follow through on assigned coordination actions. Ability to work both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively with project teams while receiving moderate guidance and direction. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to semiconductor, cleanroom, advanced manufacturing, data center, life sciences, or other technically complex facility projects. Experience participating in design-phase coordination meetings or model-based design reviews. Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, client BIM standards, and project-specific model coordination requirements. Exposure to interoperability workflows such as IFC, data exchanges, or coordination across multiple software platforms. Familiarity with reality capture, laser scanning, or point cloud workflows.
