Position Position Summary:
The Project Manager will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a multi-campus, grant-funded initiative designed to improve the identification of risky opioid and substance use and opioid/substance use disorders (OUD/SUD) among college and university students. This role is responsible for implementing evidence-based screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT) practices across participating campuses by training and supporting key stakeholders, including campus health, counseling, student affairs, and other frontline staff. The Project Manager will ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices, coordinate cross-campus partnerships, and drive continuous quality improvement to expand access to timely, appropriate substance use care for students with particular focus on integration of SPARK services to campus providers. The Program Manager is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, and reporting of the grant activities, and, in conjunction with the program leadership, ensures that all grant outcomes are met. The Program Manager will be responsible for day-to-day activities, establishing and maintaining a coordinated integrated system of care for the population of focus, organizing activities, coordinating services, and establishing communication between staff, departments, and sites. The incumbent will provide overall program evaluation support for the program, including data collection, report writing, and submissions to meet reporting requirements. The incumbent will work closely with the sponsor, the sites, the program team and leadership, and other clinicians to conduct formative and summative assessments of the program and its function, including the collection of performance measures to assess outcomes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mental health, health care and/or academia. (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Experience with federal grants and working with grant budgets a plus. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or
Knowledge:
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and business office/staff management Knowledge and skill in the use of computer applications in MS Windows environment. Skill in communicating courteously and effectively. Skill in maintaining accurate records and preparing various reports in a timely manner. Skill in presenting ideas and facts effectively and accurately. Skill and ability to participate and work as a team member. Preferred Qualifications Master's - Master's degree in mental health related degree preferred A minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
