Job Description
Acts as the single point of contact for the customer during the Make Ready process. Manages projects in close coordination with Shop Manager and ensures schedule and budget performance. Manages projects in scope from basic preventative maintenance to complete equipment overhauls.

- Effectively interact with internal customers and upper management to ensure that all requirements are being met.
- Demonstrate solid organizational skills and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Projects, Word, Excel, etc.
Knowledge:
- Familiar with ASME and API industry standards.
- Partner with Supply Chain for procuring parts.
- Basic understanding of the Make Ready Standard.
Minimum Education and Certification:
- Recommended Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business or Engineering.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Experience with an ERP system (Oracle preferred).
- Experience with packaged equipment and project scheduling.
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams.
- Customer Service experience.
- Experience in previous role exhibiting organization, scheduling and cost relationships.
Leadership:
- May serve as a resource to others with less experience.

Problem Solving and Innovation:
- Most assignments regularly require some problem identification and resolution.

- Expected to identify opportunities and to provide ideas, methods and innovations to enhance teamwork, efficiency and quality within the scope of role.
Impact:
- Actions and decisions impact costs and schedule performance in assigned area, but completed work is typically reviewed for accuracy.
- Ensures that work orders are initiated, managed and processed in a timely manner.
- Create the Capital Project Requisition (CPR) form which is the estimate to complete the make ready / repackage project and create addendums to original CPR's with assistance if necessary.
- Coordinate with design and engineering team to assure the design of the make ready/repackage meets the customer requirements and make ready packaging standards. Coordinates technical interpretation as required.
- Draft a P&ID (process and instrumentation diagram) to the fleet engineering team to incorporate into the final engineering package and a plan view showing customer connections, elevations, and foot print for each project.
- Establish, document and communicate project schedules, objectives, priorities, and targets, government regulations, and customer specifications and ensure adherence.
- Monitor project progress and budget during design, fabrication, and repackaging and keeps upper management informed of risks, tests, costs, issues and performance.
- Document and handle project scope changes, communicate revised project schedule and issues change orders for customer approval.
- Conduct internal and customer meetings, participate on cross-functional teams, addresses issues and provides feedback to management.
- Interface and coordinate with outside vendors for outsourced requirements and may work with 3rd party inspection when required.
- Track PO (OSP PO) for project closeout, work with shop admin to prepare project closure reporting to insure all work orders are closed in a timely manner.
