  • $225,000 depending on experience + Bonus + Full Benefits A leading heavy civil general contractor with a strong presence across the Pacific Northwest is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex infrastructure projects in the greater Portland area.
This role offers the opportunity to lead high-value work across water/wastewater treatment, large-diameter pipelines, and civil infrastructure projects. This organization is known for tackling technically challenging projects, maintaining a strong backlog of work, and investing in long-term employee growth and development. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of project execution from preconstruction through closeout Manage budgets, schedules, and overall project financial performance Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and stakeholders Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure field operations stay on track Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality and safety standards Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documents Experience Needed 8-15+ years of experience in heavy civil construction Proven track record managing projects such as: Water and wastewater treatment plants Pump stations or industrial process facilities Large-diameter pipeline or underground utility projects Experience managing projects with values ranging from $20M to $100M+ Strong background working with public agencies or municipal clients Experience with self-perform scopes and complex project sequencing preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage multiple stakeholders Strong financial acumen with experience budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Proficient with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents Excellent communication and leadership skills PE license or advanced certifications are a plus but not required Benefits Competitive base salary ($135K
