Are you the person who keeps everything organized, chases down the loose ends, and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks? At Internetworks, we're not just about tech, we're about people, relationships, and getting things done right. We've been delivering cutting-edge IT solutions since 1997, and now we're looking for a Project Coordinator to keep our client projects on track and moving. What's a Project Coordinator, you ask? Think of this role as mission control for our projects. You'll own the logistics, the scheduling, the documentation, and the tracking, so our Client Account Managers (who own the client relationship and the project outcomes) and our engineers (who do the technical work) can stay focused on what they do best. You keep every project organized, visible, and moving forward.
In short:
you're the person who makes projects run smoothly. What You'll Do as
Our Project Coordinator:
Project Traffic Controller:
Coordinate schedules, resources, and timelines across all active client projects. Keeper of the
Details:
Maintain accurate project status, documentation, and task tracking in our systems.
Resource Scheduler:
Line up engineer and resource time against availability, and flag conflicts before they become problems.
Procurement Tracker:
Track hardware and software orders and stay on top of delivery dates.
Communication Hub:
Keep account managers, engineers, and clients in sync on status, and surface risks and blockers early.
Finisher:
Coordinate change orders, project closeouts, and clean handoffs back to our managed services team.
Must-haves:
Serious organizational skills, you keep many moving projects on track without dropping any. Strong verbal and written communication (you keep people informed and on the same page). A proactive streak, you surface problems early instead of waiting for them to blow up. Comfort working with tools and staying on top of the details. Experience in project coordination, project administration, or operations.
Nice-to-haves:
IT/technology industry experience. Familiarity with Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Experience with a PSA tool like ConnectWise. Familiarity with IT project work (migrations, infrastructure refreshes, Microsoft 365). A Day in the Life at
Internetworks:
Our Project Coordinator is based in our Portland office and is the hub of our project delivery. You'll spend your days keeping the project board accurate, scheduling engineer time, tracking orders, syncing with account managers and engineers, and catching anything that's about to slip. Oh, and probably enjoying some great coffee.
Why You'll Love Working Here:
At Internetworks, we're serious about creating an environment where you'll thrive. From company camping trips and kombucha on tap to professional development opportunities and a commitment to work-life balance, we do things a little differently. Perks of the
Job:
Competitive salary + incentive-based bonuses. Industry-leading PTO (because rest is productive). Flexible medical, dental, and vision plans. 401(k) with employer match. Paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO), do good while working. Professional certifications and continuing education opportunities. If you did a happy dance or got joyful goosebumps while reading this posting, it's time to send your resume and cover letter!
Your cover letter should include:
A reference to the position of Project Coordinator. A paragraph (or two) describing why you're the perfect fit for this role. What to Expect from
Our Hiring Process:
A quick one-way interview where you'll answer a few pre-selected questions. It's simple and helps us see who's serious about working with our team. An in-person interview where we'll explore how you organize work, communicate, and keep projects moving. A criminal background check. Peaceful protests from your hippie days are totally cool; serious offenses are probably not cool; overthrowing the evil dictator of a developing nation? Probably cool. Thanks for Your Interest in Working with Us. We Hope to Meet You Soon! We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our team.
