Job Description

Position Summary The Junior Project Manager will assist the customer through the Romtec process from the Purchase Order until the end of construction. This position involves constant communication and coordination with the Sales Department, Engineering Department, Production Department and the Construction Department to keep a project on schedule through delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare written communication to customers; Communicate with customers regarding project contracts and scheduling; Work with customers on final designs of their pumping system; Communicate with Romtec engineering and vendors; Coordinate shipment and delivery & construction. Assist customers in documentation & delivery. Assist the Project Management Department in all processes. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) It is critical that the Junior Project Manager has:
  • 2-year Degree (associate's degree), Engineering preferred
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical construction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Fundamental understanding of inter-office communications and procedures
  • Ability to develop a fundamental understanding of various design and engineering aspects of pumping systems including mechanical, structural, electrical, and control and communication
Other Qualifications:
4-year degree a plus. Engineering preferred 2 years of Project Manager or a background in engineering/civil construction preferred Proficient in use of project management tactics and related concepts Must have proficient knowledge of computers. Experience using project management software a plus.

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
