We are a manufacturer of Commercial and residential cabinetry and millwork. We are in search of a Project Manager who is at the top of their game. This position will be working within a Manufacturing environment and working directly with GC's. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the project from Hand-off to Closeout. Will be working closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Delivery, Installation, Accounting and other facets of the company. While experience in the Wood industry would be beneficial, we are looking for the right candidate regardless of industry. If you are an outstanding PM that works within a Manufacturing environment working directly with GCs we want to hear from you! Core Responsibilities
- Own the complete project lifecycle from LOI through closeout, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, quality, and margin goals.
- Proactively plan each phase of the project, identifying critical path items, risks, dependencies, and required resources.
- Anticipate needs before they arise — ensuring Engineering, Production, Installers, and GCs are aligned ahead of every milestone. Client, GC, and Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for GCs, and Clients.
- Coordinate, collaborate, and clearly set expectations with external partners to maintain alignment throughout the project.
- Represent Morris Black with professionalism, clarity, and value-driven communication at all times. Field & Manufacturing Integration
- Work closely with the Assistant PM (APM) to translate field conditions into actionable project updates.
- Audit submittal drawings, shop drawings, and installation details for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure engineering/manufacturing teams have timely and accurate information to support smooth production flow. Scheduling & Milestone Management
- Build, maintain, and proactively manage all project dates and tasks within the ERP (INNERGY).
- Monitor and update key milestones including engineering, approvals, production start, deliveries, installation, and closeout.
- Communicate schedule changes early and clearly to all stakeholders. Documentation & Information Flow
- Manage all RFIs, ASIs, submittals, and change orders with accuracy and urgency.
- Produce timely, clear, and concise documentation for internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure all project information remains accurate, updated, and accessible throughout the lifecycle. Process Improvement & Value Creation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and add value for both the company and the customer.
