The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and overseeing the work of Boyle personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the Company's quality standards. In addition, the Project Manager must uphold an effective Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) program by following the Company's HSE Manual and ensuring all required documentation is properly implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to: Project Bidding, Planning, and Coordination:
Estimating and Project Management Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation Performing Quantity Take-offs Perfuming full project bids and budgets for submission to clients as well as writing scopes of work and proposals Performing project buyout including bid evaluation, contract descopes and bid leveling and tabulations Work with the Director of Construction Administration to negotiate and write subcontracts and purchase orders Evaluate subcontractor qualifications and review safety submittals Monitor contract performance and ensure all terms and conditions are adhered to Project Scheduling Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and resolve issues Chairing Project Meetings and recording meeting minutes Maintain comprehensive project records, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports in appropriate software platform (currently Procore) Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, as well as on site field supervision Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Participate in and support sales meetings and client calls Identify and pursue new business opportunities Represent the Company at industry events and business functions Safety Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and jobsite Ensure all Company safety policies and documentation are properly implemented Immediately notify the Director of Safety of any incidents, accidents, near-misses, regulatory visits (e.g., OSHA/EPA), or emerging hazards Assist with investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring all reports—including corrective actions—are completed and distributed Take prompt corrective action on all health, safety, and environmental recommendations Maintain all required construction and/or general industry training and certifications in compliance with Company and regulatory requirements Report any PPE violations by employees, subcontractors, or other personnel onsite to the appropriate Company representative Confirm that all job hazards are identified and appropriate controls are established through approved Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and Pre-Task Planning (PTP) during pre-construction Perform site HSE observations and document both safe and unsafe conditions in the designated software (e.g., Procore) Coordinate with the Director of Safety during site observations and audits to review and address identified safety concerns and recommendations Qualifications and Other Skills and Abilities:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry required Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred Experience in both design and field operations is a plus Understanding of project costs, scheduling, sequencing, and design processes Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building codes and safety regulations Familiarity with permitting, review, and inspection procedures Ability to anticipate scheduling issues and propose effective solutions Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Capable of prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and maintaining workflow despite interruptions Experience with Procore project management software is an advantage Dependable, punctual, and professional, with a strong work ethic Valid driver's license required; must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening Essential Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
