Job Description

Our client is a well-established engineering and infrastructure consulting firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solutions across water resources, transportation, and municipal projects. They are currently looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager to support and grow their water resources practice in the Allentown area. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex stormwater and municipal infrastructure projects, working closely with public-sector clients while leading internal teams through all phases of delivery, from early planning through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver water resources and stormwater projects, including drainage systems, flood mitigation, and regulatory-driven programs such as MS4 and PRPs Review and oversee technical designs, reports, and studies to maintain high standards of quality and compliance Lead contract administration efforts, including bid support, construction oversight, and project closeout Take responsibility for project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and overall performance Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal and authority clients, acting as a key point of contact Coordinate permitting efforts with relevant regulatory bodies and ensure alignment with applicable requirements Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical direction to junior and mid-level staff
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline Active PE license in Pennsylvania 10+ years of experience delivering water resources or municipal infrastructure projects Strong background in stormwater design, utilities, and construction administration Experience working directly with public-sector clients and presenting in public or stakeholder settings Working knowledge of permitting frameworks and regulatory processes Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and leadership capabilities Familiarity with standard engineering software and project management tools Ability to travel occasionally to project sites and meetings Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S. What's on
