Job Description

The role of Project Manager requires individuals to oversee and manage all aspects of project execution within the commercial foodservice industry. This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring adherence to company policies and protocols, and driving projects to meet established goals and profitability targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with Installation Manager to develop project specific safety protocol on all projects.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project schedules that consider all aspects of the project, including equipment lead times, resource capacities in engineering, manufacturing, and installation.
  • Establish project resources, schedules, material procurement, etc., that is required to fully execute the as sold, scope of work for an accurate and successful on-time completion.
  • To facilitate project activities with all internal stakeholders of the project including sales/estimating, engineering, design, manufacturing, and installation.
  • Engage in productive site visits to ensure initial design intent, application, and job progress management, as appropriate.
  • Review and amend primary purchase orders and/or contracts pertaining to risk management and scope of work with Contracts Manager.
  • Manage and control established cost budgets and schedules for all other areas within the project scope.
  • Develop close relationships with owners, architects, customers, general contractors, installers, and other subs for contracted work.
  • Ensure the prompt, accurate and correct submission of company expense reports Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as project management, engineering, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • Certifications in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification preferred.
  • Experience in managing resources and directing projects to successful completion.
  • Experience in planning and implementing all Project Management processes.
  • Excellence in customer relationship management.
  • Hands on, field installation and construction experience.
  • Technical expertise in MEP and installation requirements of commercial cooking equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
