Job Summary In this role, the Sr Manager, Project Management, is responsible for driving the project management process for multiple complex projects simultaneously to meet internal and customer deliverables. Responsible for driving projects to completion based on timelines, budget, and resources. This role will be responsible for identifying and managing cross-project dependencies, critical items, risks, and issues. Communicate at all levels of the organization and be responsible for recognizing and engaging key stakeholders quickly and early in the process to drive project outcomes in a predictable and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and oversee the project management activities which may include internal and external partners and technical discussions
Build and maintain critical path, milestones, and overall program timeline and budget
Manage relationships and coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners
Lead project team meetings and follow up on open action items, seeing them through to completion
Create and maintain project documentation to communicate progress
Own and communicate documentation and training efforts of key projects to enterprise
Initiate project change alerts in the case of delays, changes in scope, or deliverables and communicate risk to the project
Facilitate post-program or task reviews as appropriate to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Champion and enable the use of PMO tools within West
Foster and encourage shared learnings across projects/ programs
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and all safety rules
Effectively manage a team of process analysts and project coordinators to fulfill resourcing needs of various cross functional projects
Other duties as assigned Education Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent technical experience in lieu of degree required
Work Experience Minimum 10 years Experience in Project Management within a matrixed organization required Previous experience in Project Management oriented role with a focus on technology and system implementations preferred Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Highly Proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
Experience with HR Systems such as SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, ADP and UltimateAbility to write routine reports, correspondence and process documents.
Works independently with minimal guidance.
Ability to speak effectively before groups and employees in the organization.
Ability to comply with the company's safety and quality policy at all times.
Travel Requirements 5%: Up to 13 business days per yearPhysical Requirements Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
