Job DescriptionPosition Overview The Operations Intern will support the execution and continuous improvement of operational processes across Eurofins Medical Device Services. This role provides hands-on exposure to business operations, project coordination, data management, and performance tracking within a regulated and highly technical environment.

The intern will primarily support the Operations Strategist in driving process efficiency, reporting visibility, and system optimization, while also assisting Client Portfolio Managers and Project Services Coordinators in maintaining accurate project and portfolio data.

This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Business, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management who is interested in applying data-driven thinking to real-world operational challenges.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations and Process SupportSupport the development, documentation, and improvement of operational workflows and processesAssist in maintaining standard operating procedures, templates, and playbooksHelp identify inefficiencies in project setup, tracking, and execution workflowsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Medical Device ServicesData Management and ReportingAssist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports such as Power BI and Excel to improve visibility into project status, portfolio performance, and operational KPIsSupport data validation and reconciliation across systems including CRM, LIMS, and other toolsHelp establish and maintain a centralized reporting hub for operational insightsCRM and Sales Data IntegritySupport initiatives to improve CRM data quality, completeness, and consistencyHelp enforce best practices for opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and project linkagePartner with Sales, Client Portfolio Managers, and Operations to ensure accurate capture of opportunities, wins and losses, and project transitions from sales to executionAssist in identifying gaps or inconsistencies in CRM data and driving corrective actionsProject and Portfolio Coordination SupportSupport Client Portfolio Managers and Project Services Coordinators in maintaining accurate project records, timelines, and tracking toolsAssist with project setup validation including quotes, purchase orders, scope alignment, and system entriesHelp track action items, risks, and milestones across active projectsContribute to improving portfolio visibility and data integrity across accountsOperational Analytics and InsightsAnalyze operational and sales data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesSupport forecasting, backlog tracking, and performance measurement initiativesAssist in developing data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and decision-makingCross Functional CollaborationWork across Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technical teams to support aligned executionParticipate in internal meetings and contribute to action tracking and follow-upSupport alignment between business development activities and operational deliverySuccess Metrics (KPIs)Accuracy and completeness of CRM and project dataImproved visibility into operational and portfolio performanceReduction in data discrepancies and reporting gapsAdoption of CRM and reporting best practicesTimely support of project setup and tracking activitiesPositive feedback from Operations, Client Portfolio Managers, and Project Services CoordinatorsQualificationsQualificationsRequiredCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft ExcelHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferredExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or TableauFamiliarity with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or SalesforceExposure to project management tools or methodologiesInterest in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industriesKey Attributes for SuccessAnalytical mindset with a strong interest in data-driven decision-makingProactive and self-motivated with the ability to work in an evolving environmentStrong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrityAbility to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasksCurious and eager to learn about business operations and process improvementWhat This Role OffersHands-on experience supporting operations in a global medical device services organizationExposure to cross-functional business processes including Sales, Operations, Finance, and Project ManagementOpportunity to work on high-impact initiatives related to data, systems, and process improvementDirect visibility into how a complex services business operates and scalesAdditional InformationWorking schedule will be Full-Time, M-F 8am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
