For 135 years, it has contributed to the development of the country's transportation systems including the Interstate Highway System and a vast network of roads, bridges, airports, metros, and railways. Lane specializes in mobility, tunneling, and water resources to address sustainable development and climate change adaptation challenges. Description Builds and maintains project level staff at appropriate levels and coordinates with human resources. Coordinates with procurement to optimize project purchasing. Builds and maintains strong relationships with owners and other vested parties, understanding their needs and expectations and deliver solutions that exceed their requirements and foster long-term partnerships. Mentors, coaches, provides feedback and evaluates performance of staff members. Identifies and mitigates risks to minimize project delays and cost overruns. Presents financial, human resource and operational data in project review meetings. Tracks claims and change orders to ensure they are providing adequate compensation. Builds a safety culture by implementing and supporting safety programs and practices and holding individuals accountable. Oversees new project start-up. Performs other duties as assigned.
