POSITION SUMMARY

As a Human Resources Project Manager with a focus on growth, you will be empowered to facilitate and manage HR activity related to growth across the business. You will work with a team of collaborative HR professionals to manage the flow of work and ensure critical timelines are met across benefits,pensation, staffing, HRIS, HR operations, labor relations, and payroll. Your successful management of these significant andplex projects will make a positive impact on associates and contribute to the overall success of the business. As our work in Human Resources increases inplexity and our associate population grows, effective project management andmunication is critical to our success. In addition to successfully managing multiple projects, you will be responsible for collaborating with our HR Communications Team to deliver tailoredmunications that are in alignment with the style and framework by which wemunicate with associates. If you are an HR Professional who possesses strong critical thinking skills and has prior project experience, or if you have served in a Project Management role at Penske or in anotheranization we are interested in talking to you.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and lead HR projects, programs, and initiatives, including the planning, execution, monitoring and control of defined initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multiple levels within theanization to evaluate customer and business requirements.
  • Consult with Senior Management and propose expanded initiatives that align with existing work that will better meet the needs of theanization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams at all levels to successfulpletion or project goals.
  • Present final rmendations and project oues to senior management.
  • Institute measures to monitor HR processes.
  • Collaborate with the other HR Project Managers w appropriate in order to create consistencies in project management processes and applications.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience leading/managing projects and project teams is required; formal training in this area is a plus
  • Extremely strongmunication skills, including oral and writtenmunication skills and strong presentation skills and meeting facilitation skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Visio and Project experience a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with strong attention to detail
  • Green Belt /Black Belt skills and certification a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • HR experience a plus
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Willingness to travel, work the required scle, work at the specific location required,plete Penske employment application, submit to a background verification (to include past employment andcation) are required.
