Project Manager - AI Governance & Policy Reading, PA 6 months Contract (w/potential of FTE conversion) - Hybrid (2 days/week onsite) Send resume to: aghosh@copiastaffing.com Position Overview The PM will serve as the primary go-to person for all AI Governance initiatives working closely with the AI Governance Committee and cross functional teams (Legal, IT, HR, etc.) to evaluate, refine, and develop enterprise-wide AI policies and procedures. Strong AI governance frameworks acumen and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously is needed. Key Responsibilities Lead evaluation of existing AI policies and controls, identifying gaps and areas requiring updates. Coordinate development and implementation of AI policies and procedures aligned with legal, ethical, and operational requirements. Maintain policy inventory, documentation standards, version control, and approval workflows. Translate legal, technical, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable policy language. Serve as the primary liaison between Legal, IT, HR, the AI Governance Committee, and external auditors. Lead multiple AI governance projects, including planning, risk management, stakeholder communication, and status reporting. Coordinate audits, compliance reviews, and policy governance activities. Support the development of a scalable AI governance framework and performance metrics. Required Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience managing multiple cross-functional initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced matrixed environment. Strong understanding of AI governance, AI ethics frameworks, or AI policy development. Understanding of regulatory and compliance environments related to technology and data. Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills for all audiences. Experience in driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and external clients/partners. High proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Asana). Preferred Qualifications PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification. Familiarity with AI governance frameworks. Experience partnering with legal, compliance, or audit functions. Background in data privacy regulations and how they intersect with AI use Experience in a highly regulated industry. Exposure to enterprise AI platforms, tools, or AI product development lifecycles.
