About the
Role:
The Project Manager is accountable for the launch execution across key bath product categories, including shower doors, shower bases, and other related items, forecasting, core product positioning, and tracking the financial performance of the respective product lines. This role will work closely with the Product Manager and Product Development teams, and internal cross-functional teams to help move both existing products and new product development projects forward. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, technically curious, and comfortable following up with suppliers and internal teams to keep product details, samples, timelines, costs, and documentation on track.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving the annual product launch metric set for new product sales. Supports the development of product timelines and roadmaps. Assist in forecasting new product sales for years 1-3. Provides support in specific stages of the product life cycle management process, such as "Introduction/Growth/Maturity/Decline/Harvest". Supports the analysis of key market and competitor trends, highlighting new product and service opportunities in the market. Works closely with R&D and product manager to evaluate competitor products and propose new product & product enhancement ideas. Leads cross functional teams through all aspects of the new product development (NPD). Responsible to oversee, track, and report on progress for each of the product development stages. Responsible for key aspects of stakeholder engagement and management through the NPD stage gate process. Analyzes market trends, competitor activities, and consumer/retail habits. Works with R&D teams to support marketing and business functions in the development, design, and launch of new bathroom products. Reports all product data that summarize KPIs (performance, quality issues, profitability and more). Owns the roadmap for their project. Continuously reviews, refines, and drives prioritization of the project schedule, clearly articulating the vision and strategy to the cross-functional teams. Develops the core positioning and messaging for products. Creates product training material for all new products. Trains internal teams on new product features and benefits (Sales, Customer Service, Support). Additional projects and work assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
5 or more years of prior experience in project management, marketing, channel management, and/or sales with 3-5 years of Retail experience. Experience with bath products, building products, shower doors, shower bases, glass, hardware, or manufactured goods is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage technical product information. Comfort reviewing specifications, drawings, samples, packaging details, costs, and timelines. Analytical capabilities & strong excel background, ERP, PIM, and Project Management software experience preferred. Excellent organization and planning skills - able to meet deadlines in a multi-project environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Experienced user of MSOffice with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, well organized, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience supporting new product development from concept through launch. Understanding of factory communication, sample review, product testing, packaging, and production handoff. Ability to identify product issues and help coordinate practical solutions.
Pay:
$60,000.00 per year
