Full Time Travel Required About the Opportunity A growing custom construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through completion. This role combines project management, field oversight, client communication, and budget management. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both on job sites and in an administrative capacity, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from preconstruction through completion Develop project schedules, timelines, and work plans Monitor project budgets and costs to ensure projects remain on budget Prepare estimates, budgets, and cost projections Coordinate the sourcing, ordering, and delivery of materials and equipment Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the construction process Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Track project progress and provide updates to leadership and stakeholders Resolve project issues and construction challenges as they arise Ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication and project execution Maintain quality, safety, and project standards on all job sites Qualifications 5+ years of construction project management experience Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project execution Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities High attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed Preferred Background Experience in custom residential construction, specialty structures, outdoor construction, or similar project based environments Strong client facing experience Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors, and construction crews What Success Looks Like This person will take ownership of projects from start to finish, maintain strong client relationships, keep projects on schedule and within budget, and ensure a high quality final product.
